Join US!

Thank you for your interest in our 24th annual South Central Trucking and Industry Charity Golf Tournament to be hosted on August 20th at Rivershore Golf Links.

We are very excited to be able to continue this tradition in support of the Royal Inland Hospital. The tournament has raised over $2,000,000 since it’s inception. This year, we will be partnering with CP, who has generously offered to match our contributions up to $75,000. With that in mind, our committee has set our fundraising goal at $150,000 which will go towards Cardiac Care at RIH. Through our tournament planning last year, we have gained valuable experience in putting on a top tier event in spite of any circumstances the world may throw our way. Thank you so much for your continued support, we look forward to seeing you at this year’s event.

We encourage YOU to participate in this worthy cause and help advance cardiac care at RIH. The funds raised will be used to purchase life-saving cardiac care equipment. We truly appreciate your valued support.

We are very thankful to Western Roofing, a sponsor that has supported the SCT&I Golf Tournament for almost 20 years! According to Colin Rasmussen, President of Western Roofing, “Even though we are not a trucking company, we were introduced to the tournament through the hospital board and continue to participate because we love working with like-minded people and the tournament is a lot of fun. This year with the restrictions in place due to the pandemic, it was important for us to continue our involvement. The Kamloops’ community is a very giving community and I am confident that with the adaptations that have been made to the tournament this year, it will continue it’s tradition of being an incredibly successful event.”

Western Roofing is headquartered in Kamloops, with an office in Cranbrook, specializing in commercial industrial complete flat roofing systems, architectural sheet metal fabrication and insulation. The company is able to provide service anywhere from the BC coast to the Saskatchewan border.

CP’s various charitable events over the past two years have helped BC Children’s Hospital and Royal Inland Hospital raise over $2 million through different matching programs. As the community partner in Kamloops, CP will match SCT&I’s contributions up to $75,000 to go towards cardiac care at the Royal Inland Hospital.
