Thanks to the generous donation of $7,092 from the Keystone of Life Foundation, the Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) Foundation was able to purchase two special “Broda” wheelchairs. These specially designed chairs help patients who have suffered serious injury or illness (like COVID-19) transition from their hospital beds to a supported sitting position. The chairs also can be set in a variety of recline positions, which helps ensure that patients are as comfortable and safe as possible during their recovery.
