Many in Kamloops and the wider community were born and/or had their own children at Royal Inland Hospital. It is a place where mothers, infants and children can rely on world-class care from the dedicated team of Obstetrics and Pediatric physicians and nurses. Our renowned Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) cares for premature and sick infants while offering support to their families during this stressful time.

In the Pediatrics department, children from 0 – 17 years of age can receive life-saving care within the in-patient unit, or can be followed by visiting specialists who offer outpatient clinics in the hospital on a regular basis.

With your support, we can all be assured that families, children and infants have access to outstanding healthcare at our local hospital. New equipment, technology and professional  development opportunities for staff are key to the success of our Child and Family programs at RIH. State-of-the-art infant warmers, respiratory tools and fetal monitors are just a few examples of donor-funded equipment that have benefited our
smallest patients and helped them thrive.
