For almost 30 years, critically ill and injured patients have received life-saving care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Royal Inland Hospital. These patients and their families are faced with an intense, emotionally charged, and sometimes touch-and-go experience.

		
A modern ICU will bring upgraded technology, improved privacy, greater efficiencies for doctors and nurses, and much-needed support and comfort to patients, and their families and friends within the community.
